Sake @ Satsko

Not much bigger than the average studio apartment, Sake Bar Satsko has a comfortable, careworn style. Low-hanging beaded red lamps light the few tables and small bar area.

Sake of choice: Kamoizume Nigori

The food menu looks great and from what i saw coming out of the kitchen, everything looked very fresh.

EUZKADI- Tapas tapas tapas

If you want a real Basque ambiance and a few pretty great dishes, check this
place out.

Fabulous tapas restaurant on the lower east side (108 East 4th street) with a menu with too much to choose from.

It's a classic East Village spot: small, crowded, warm, funky decor.  And the food... yesss.  Overall a great vibe, and definitely a good place for a group between 2 and 5.  Great service too.

I suggest ordering at least 5 tapas (between two-three people).

Crave Fishbar- An elegantly rustic seafood spot

Styled with salvaged materials from the original restaurant (which was once a ceviche bar back in 2008), Crave Fishbar is back in business and housed within a 60-seat 19th century townhouse in midtown manhattan (51st and 2nd).

If you are looking for something different and with a twist to it, this is your spot. I highly recommend the tuna sandwich -no ordinary tuna sandwich thats for sure. Spicy tuna on plancha grilled yucca with lime butter and toasted nori. I think this is one of those dishes that you try for the first time and when you find yourself craving this particular sandwich, CRAVE is the only place to go.

Originally only open for dinner, Crave now serves lunch between 11:30 and 2pm.

Prices are decently priced
Lunch between $12-$15 per dish.

GO!

Marea

I had the luxury of visiting this famous Italian seafood spot on Central Park South. Since moving here in 2010 i have walked by it over more than a dozen times peering through the linen blinds that separate the craziness of columbus circle and manhattans most storied addresses.
Chef Michael White brings so much to the table; combining fresh home made pastas and organic fish flown in from all over the world.
My order:

App: Astice (nova scotia lobster, burrata, eggplant eggplant al funghetto, basil)
Main: Garganelli (squid ink pasta, seppia, shrimp, scallops, butternut squash)

Momofuku Ssam Bar (Again)

Yes I know i have already visited and re-visited and wrote about this place (goes to show that it's worth visiting), however, i just can't get enough. Everything if phenomenal including the new dessert they have on the menu. Lemon Meringue Pie with pistachio, lemon curd and shaved frozen citrus topping.
This dessert is absolutely outstanding. The perfect combination of savory, sweet and salty. Give it like 10 seconds to sit in your mouth because it tricks your taste buds.
